Zagreb/Sljeme ready for 2014 “Vip Snow Queen Trophy”

In today’s press conference the Organizing Committee of the 2014 Audi FIS Ski World Cup “Vip Snow Queen Trophy” Zagreb/Sljeme slalom races, general sponsor’s, Vipnet’s CEO, Mr. Mladen Pejković, just as mayor of the City of Zagreb, Mr. Milan Bandić, have all informed Croatian public that everything is ready for the 10th edition of World Cup alpine racing in Zagreb/Sljeme.

Ladies’ slalom race is scheduled for 4 January 2014 with race starting times 10 am and 1 pm CET and men’s slalom race is schduled for 6 January 2014 with race starting times 2:45 and 6:10 pm CET (night slalom race). Also, on 4 January 2014 in afternoon hours (start 4:30 h pm) new edition of “dm Zagreb Ski Legends” race is again taking place.

“We are again expecting a big number of fans during both races. We have both races on sort-of work-free days, so we expect a lot of people and loud cheering for Croatian but, as usual in Zagreb, also for all other competitors.

“Crveni spust” race course on Sljeme is covered with snow. And now we need only 36 to 48 hours of cold weather to totally finish the job”, Mr. Vedran Pavlek, Organizing Committe director, has said today.
